• Prepare gage specs and source suppliers for new gages.
  • Perform capability studies and report statistical results to management.
  • Implement Statistical Process Control on required manufacturing processes.
  • Work with suppliers to maintain and improve supplier performance.
  • Maintain and control calibration records for all test and inspection equipment.
  • Perform first article inspections and report results to plant management and the corporate product development team.
  • Work closely with the product development team on new projects.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Assist with any incoming inspection and raw material testing as required.
  • Work with Manufacturing to solve in-house quality concerns.
  • Assist Quality Manager in establishing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems.
  • Prepare monthly reporting and evaluations on Quality performance.
  • Perform routine quality audits of the manufacturing lines.
  • Quality problem investigation and corrective actions.
  • Lead all internal auditing required by Quality Management System and customer requirements to ensure consistency and compliance to standards.
  • Travel to suppliers or customers when needed.
  • Ensure product testing is performed according product standards and meets requirements.
  • Assist with training Quality Inspectors.
  • Facilitate the corrective action system.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Program and operate CMM.



  • Self-motivational, enthusiastic, and have a positive attitude.
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience as a Quality Engineer (Preferred)
  • Ability to identify, solve problems, and multi-task under deadlines.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge in computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Minitab, etc.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Data Analysis Skills and determining root cause to Quality Concerns
  • Experience with the following quality equipment is preferable: Height gage and indicator, micrometers, calipers, air gages, drop indicators, ultrasonic thickness gages, CMM, and functional gages.
  • Strong team player with proven ability to work effectively with others at all levels
  • Proficient in Blueprint Reading, Specification Reading, and Measurements, GD&T.
  • Must have experience with Quality Tools (8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why, SPC, Minitab)
  • ASQ Certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment working within Quality Management Systems with ISO9001
  • Bachelor’s Degree
