FLSA STATUS:                   NON-EXEMPT

 

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for supporting the client needs and requirements as well as manage the employees assigned to the client.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintain good client relations by handling all customer service inquiries, concerns, issues and ensuring consistent quality.
  2. Work closely with client Production Supervisors, Group Leaders and Human Resource staff to identify areas of needed improvement.
  3. Contact the Staffing Specialist ASAP for employee replacements.
  4. Work closely with client Production and Human Resources to gather information needed to complete employee evaluations.
  5. Identify areas of needed improvement and implement a corrective action plan. If warranted, initiate disciplinary procedures up to & including termination.
  6. Assist in identifying absent employees ASAP.
  7. Conduct new hire employee orientations on site (general safety, location of first aid, time clocks, break rooms, rest rooms, etc.)
  8. Responsible for maintaining employee Roster daily to ensure accuracy of data.
  9. Distribute safety equipment as needed.
  10. Responsible for conducting daily “safety sweeps”.
  11. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Employee is required to spend a minimum 8 hours per shift on the plant floor observing and assisting employees as needed.

Daily overtime and weekend work will be required.

 

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum)

  1. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

BA/BS Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred.  Three to five years of Supervisory/Management experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Must be detailed oriented and have excellent communication and listening skills.   Ability to prioritize, multi-task and provide excellent customer service.  Must have strong problem solving and computer skills.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible for developing and maintaining long term professional relationships with clients.  Source and maintain a pool of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.  Assist employees with a smooth and orderly Onboarding process.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  Describe the essential functions of this position in order of importance. 

 

  1. Responsible for sourcing, recruiting, screening and hiring qualified candidates for job assignments at client company locations.
  2. Ensure all candidates are properly screened, interviewed and all qualifying information is entered into TempWorks.
  3. Schedule and conduct pre-employment new hire orientations and ensure accuracy and completion of all new hire documents.
  4. Work closely with clients to fill job orders with qualified candidates in a timely manner.
  5. Update clients on the status of their job orders with frequent phone & e-mail communication.
  6. Utilize Tempworks to manage candidates, employees and client information to efficiently fill job orders.
  7. Coach and Counsel Employees in person and over the phone as needed.
  8. Supervise and manage employee performance on a day to day basis & initiate disciplinary procedures up to and including termination if required.
  9. Ensure prospective employees have a thorough understanding of the company’s policies & procedures.
  10. Maintain job board as it pertains to candidate Orientation, Pool, and Job Orders.
  11. Maintain business relationships with clients through personal visits, marketing activities and client events.
  12. Responsible for keeping orientation room and restroom clean.
  13. Responsible for maintaining open lines of communication with staff members.
  14. Conduct 3rd Party Drug Screening.
  15. Document ALL contact with prospects and employees in Tempworks.
  16. Solicit employees for candidate/applicant referrals.
  17. Monitor all employee call-ins daily and enter information in Tempworks.
  18. Responsible for daily contact with NSNC’s. Obtain reason for absence and determine if they can come in that day and ensure they will be at work the next day. Document reason in Tempworks.
  19. Contact everyone that has voluntarily resigned & determine if they can be saved, but if not encourage them to work out a two week notice. Document in Tempworks.
  20. Contact all employees on their 2nd day of employment to see how they are doing and report findings to management and document finding in Tempworks.
  21. Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of terminated employees.
  22. Maintain relationships with WIN Job Centers.
  23. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS (Minimum)

  1. BA/BS Degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience preferred.  Three to Five years of recruiting & interviewing experience preferred.

Job Function:

Procure materials necessary to support manufacturing demands resulting from sales forecast and orders. Create a master schedule to support customer demands and support the strategies of the company.

 

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Procure components to support forecasting and customer order requirements.
  2. Negotiate the most cost effective pricing with suppliers while retaining a quality product.
  3. Coordinate the return of all non-conforming materials to suppliers.
  4. Review open order report daily to assist/plan for un-forecasted opportunities.
  5. Generate a master schedule to support the provided forecast and customer order requirements.
  6. Generate production work orders to support forecast and customer requirements.
  7. Obtain supporting documentation from Marketing to accompany all production work orders.
  8. Input daily scrap data into ERP.
  9. Provide a monthly report of orders vs. forecast.
  10. Provide a monthly report of CPSIA production, if applicable, for your assigned area.
  11. Close all open work orders that are delinquent on a monthly basis.

Job Requirements:

  1. Proficient using Microsoft Office software.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  3. Prefer experience using Oracle E-Business Suite.
  4. Prefer a B.S. degree in Business Administration or related field or has comparable training through experience from on the job training.
  5. Prefer 5 years’ experience scheduling in a manufacturing environment.
  6. Prefer 5 years’ experience in purchasing to support a manufacturing environment.
