    Quality Control Inspector that can examine material for defects.

     

    Requirements:

     

    • Must be able to work any shift (preferably 3rd 11PM-7AM)
    • Accept or reject finished drain pans
    • Discuss inspection results with those responsible.
    • Monitor operations to ensure that they meet production standards.
    • Measure product with rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
    • Must be able to work overtime if necessary.
    • Must have own transportation.
    • Pay is based on experience.

    Education
    equivalent to high school diploma or GED.
    Technical certification is preferred
    Experience
    Quality assurance or quality control experience preferred.
    Experience reading prints and using gages required.
    Vendor/supplier relations experience helpful.
    Knowledge Required
    Computer experience and experience using SPC techniques helpful.
    Excellent organizational skills required.
    Ability to perform work per instructions with minimal supervision, and within reasonable time

                Perform procurement function of buying specific products necessary for the success and growth of the company.

                

    Duties:

                            Assist department(s) in evaluation of goods and services as needed

     

                            Work with vendors and suppliers in order to obtain products and meet inventory levels

     

                            Determine pricing based on competitive market analysis and profitability

     

                            Be able to successfully operate the Visual Manufacturing computer system

     

                            Review sample products from vendors to ensure quality is acceptable

                                       

                            Work with scheduling to expedite products in high demand

     

                            Work with customer service to expedite parts

     

                            Evaluate vendor performance

     

                            Perform any other duties as assigned to ensure successful operation of the company

    Troubleshoots mechanical systems such as hydraulics, tooling, bearings, fittings, and pneumatic systems Troubleshoots industrial manufacturing equipment and electrical systems. Installs electrical utilities and reads electrical schematics. Fabricates and installs piping systems (pneumatic, water, and gas), Fabricates and installs welded sheet metal assemblies (tables, fixtures, etc.) Works successfully within preventative maintenance, environmental, and safety programs.

    Qualifications

    Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a minimum of 2 years related experience.

    Proven ability to read electrical schematics and hydraulic / pneumatic circuit schematics. Ability to fabricate and weld sheet metal and industrial piping systems. Possesses good problem solving skills. Communicates effectively. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and part of a team. Able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability and willingness to work flexible hours and overtime on a regular basis. Reasonably available to attend off-shift training when required.

  • Supervisor – Multiple Locations

    First-line supervisor responsible for assigning and coordinating the work in a manufacturing department in order to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.

    Has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of group. Maintains log of shift operations. Prepares daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports. Inspects product to verify production specifications are met. Reviews production schedules, material and manpower resources. Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements. Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures. Maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules and performance. Trains new workers in the organizations operating procedures and standards.

    Qualifications

    Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

    Good work record and experience. Ability to lead in a production environment. Requires tact and good judgment. Excellent communication skills.
