  • Controls Engineer – Grenada

    Key responsibilities of this role include:

    • Supervising, training, and mentoring other electrical engineer(s) within the team.
    • Designing and integrating control systems on new and existing equipment to improve output and meet key business objectives.
    • On-going management of multiple technical projects targeting continuous improvement results in the areas of safety, quality, efficiency, delivery, or cost.
    • Providing technical expertise and support on equipment, processes and methods aimed at sustaining or increasing production output.
    • Maintaining and updating engineering standards for equipment as related to the selection of hardware, electrical documentation, and programming.

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates should possess:

    • BS in Electrical Engineering, MS is preferred
    • 5 years’ experience designing and troubleshooting control and electrical systems
    • Expert knowledge of programming for PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley)
    • Proficiency in the creation of electrical schematics and panel designs
    • Visual Basic programming is desirable
    • Good communication skills, both oral and written
    • Strong desire to succeed as part of a technical team

    Ability to travel up to 10% for training, vendor selection, equipment evaluations

  • Warehouseman – Greenwood

    POSITION SUMMARY
    Fill customers’ orders from stored merchandise in accordance with specifications given by a computerized system. Duties include operating a voice activated system that provides information on what product to select, drive electric pallet jack, selecting cases of product ranging in weight from 5 pounds to 85 pounds to be selected and palletized. This position will perform multiple functions throughout the warehouse to meet the needs of both inbound and outbound operations. This position may perform the duties of selector, hauler, forklift operator, loader, and receiver depending on the needs of the warehouse.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Essential Functions Statement(s)
    • Obtain merchandise from bins or shelves.
    • Requisition additional materials, supplies, and equipment.
    • Palletize product on pallets.
    • Ability to lift and carry product ranging from 5 to 85 pounds.
    • Ability to read aisle, slot, and door numbers.
    • Ability to operate an electric pallet jack.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS
    • High School or GED Diploma
    • Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to promote a positive and cooperative work environment.
    • Demonstrated aptitude toward adherence to company policies and with excellent attendance, safety and productivity records.
    • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
    • Minimum 6 months of warehouse experience
    • Ability to lift up to 85 pounds occasionally
    • General knowledge of warehouse systems
    • Ability to work in both the perishable section and grocery section of the warehouse
    • Flexibility to work varying shifts (shipping and receiving)
    • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job (pass Ergonomic Testing and Drug Test)

  • Technician – Batesville Area

    Job Responsibilities:
    1.Produce a quality product as noted by the product specification.
    2.Set-up, maintain and troubleshoot the operation of the automated assembly line including minor robotic troubleshooting.
    3.Work in conjunction with the maintenance department when troubleshooting the robotic equipment in the department.
    4.Assist in the fabrication and installation of ancillary equipment associated with the automated assembly line.
    5.Schedule temporary workforce in conjunction with the production schedule.
    6.Performs all other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    1.Good mechanical aptitude.

  • Quality Control Manager – Greenwood and Grenada MS

    Role and Responsibilities:

    • Contributes to development and execution of product food safety and quality programs to support the organization’s goals of operational excellence, customer/client satisfaction, financial performance, market leadership, and preferred employer.
    • Responsible for developing and on-going maintenance of the Food Safety Plan. Must be able to identify deficiencies and implement new strategies.
    • Ensures all HACCP, GMP’s, sanitation preventive controls, supply chain preventive controls and all other prerequisite food safety standards are met according to USDA, FDA, FSIS, FSMA and corporate requirements.
    • Manages Allergen Preventive Controls Program ensuring accurate allergen labeling on finished food products and prevention of allergen cross contact.
    • Manages the written recall program.
    • Ensures complete traceability of incoming raw materials and finished product while managing lot code tracking.
    • Ensures labeling programs is accurate in accordance with allergens, ingredients and nutritional
      information.
    • Manages sanitation preventive controls management components required in the food safety plan to ensure monitoring, corrections and verification. Leads environmental monitoring at the facility.
    • Collaborate with production management to resolve product quality and safety issues.
    • Evaluates supplier and product conformance to standards and specifications.
    • Oversees all food safety audits conducted by government and third party agencies.
    • Responds to customer safety and quality concerns as needed.
    • Assumes responsibility for a variety of assignments and projects, potentially including: technical support of product specifications; private-label, external sales, and other procurement and business initiatives.
    • Works collaboratively and cooperatively with corporate QA staff on routine matters, e.g. complaint
      investigations and recalls, and special projects.
    • Actively and cooperatively participates in team collaboration efforts to improve common workflows, procedures, and tasks to increase efficiency and assure stakeholder satisfaction.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements:

    • At least 5 years of directly related experience required in Quality Assurance and Food Safety
      manufacturing role.
    • Experienced in prepared foods manufacturing a plus.
    • HACCP program development and FSMA is a must.
    • HACCP certification, Preventive Controls for Human Food (PCQI) and GFSI auditor certification a must.
    • Strong understanding of required third party audit and GFSI audit scheme programs and standards.
    • Working knowledge of food processing and distribution regulations, i.e. FDA and USDA/FSIS, and industry practice.
    • Experience developing and motivating personnel.
    • Track record of food safety/QA success in any of the following focus areas a plus: meat, poultry, seafood, processed foods, distribution, proprietary/private-label product development and/or monitoring.
    • B.S. degree in food technology, food science, or related curriculum and/or experience required.

    Preferred Skills:

    • HACCP certified or HACCP specific training
    • Statistical Process Control or other data analysis experience
    • Experience with tracking and trending data
    • Experience with using charted or graphed data as a decision making tool

    Job Description:
    -Set up injection and compression molds and necessary auxiliary equipment.
    -Optimize process settings at setup for the production of acceptable parts.
    -Assist in the troubleshooting and debug of new molds.

    3. Be able to work from customer and shop drawings with little or no supervision.
    4. Make ordinary set-up and perform a variety of routine drilling, milling, journaling, boring, surface grinding, and broaching operations.
    5. Operate lathe, broaching machine, drills, and milling machine. Select proper cutters, drills, tool holders, broaching bars and other tooling. Able to make all machine adjustments including difficult machining operations requiring complicated and unusual setups.
    6. Operate CNC lathes and milling machine including set-ups, programming, and general maintenance is a plus.
    7. Keep work area clean and organized.
    8. Perform other duties as required.

    Education Requirements: High School Diploma, Machine Shop Trade School Degree

    Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year operating manual machine shop equipment. Experience operating CNC machine shop equipment would be favorable.

    Skills Required / Preferred:
    1. Knowledge and understanding of technical drawings
    2. Understand and use micrometers, calipers, scale, squares, verniers, dial indicators, sine bars, parallels, etc to layout work, make setups, operate machines, and check work.
    3. Knowledge and understanding of setting up and operating manual metal lathes, mills, grinders, drills, and other standard machine shop tools.

    5. General maintenance
