  • Maintenance Worker – Grenada, MS

    Job Description:
    -Set up injection and compression molds and necessary auxiliary equipment.
    -Optimize process settings at setup for the production of acceptable parts.
    -Assist in the troubleshooting and debug of new molds.
    -Assist in the diagnosing of molding problems.
    -Maintain daily maintenance and safety checks on designated machines.
    -Ability to set up and process production molds with minimal supervision.
    -Assemble or disassemble hydraulic hoses.
    -Blueprint interpretation.
    -Must be able to work OT if necessary.

  • Production Machinist – Winona, MS

    Grade: 8 ($14.00 to $16.00 depending on experience)

    Job Description:
    1. Always practice safety with quality work and quality product.
    2. Understand SCC work ticket system, time card system, and follow it.
    3. Be able to work from customer and shop drawings with little or no supervision.
    4. Make ordinary set-up and perform a variety of routine drilling, milling, journaling, boring, surface grinding, and broaching operations.
    5. Operate lathe, broaching machine, drills, and milling machine. Select proper cutters, drills, tool holders, broaching bars and other tooling. Able to make all machine adjustments including difficult machining operations requiring complicated and unusual setups.
    6. Operate CNC lathes and milling machine including set-ups, programming, and general maintenance is a plus.
    7. Keep work area clean and organized.
    8. Perform other duties as required.

    Education Requirements: High School Diploma, Machine Shop Trade School Degree

    Experience Requirements: Minimum 1 year operating manual machine shop equipment. Experience operating CNC machine shop equipment would be favorable.

    Skills Required / Preferred:
    1. Knowledge and understanding of technical drawings
    2. Understand and use micrometers, calipers, scale, squares, verniers, dial indicators, sine bars, parallels, etc to layout work, make setups, operate machines, and check work.
    3. Knowledge and understanding of setting up and operating manual metal lathes, mills, grinders, drills, and other standard machine shop tools.
    4. Use fractions
    5. General maintenance

    Physical Demands:
    1. Moderate to Heavy physical effort, frequently handling average to heavy materials and operating machines.

    Job Description:
    1. Always practice safety with quality work and quality product.
    2. Understand SCC work ticket system, time card system, and follow it.
    3. Be able to work from customer and shop drawings with little or no supervision.
    4. Perform mig welding for mechanical strength on a variety of products and materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Select proper equipment, current, voltage, and welding wire as required.
    5. Apply various welding techniques to meet various welding requirements and produce welds of proper strength and quality.
    6. Assemble and set-up parts, clamping, tacking, blocking, etc to meet part specification and avoid distortion as required.
    7. Use an assortment of air operated tools and small hand tools in the fabrication process.
    8. Keep work area clean and organized.
    9. Other duties as required.

    Education Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent

    Experience Requirements: 1 + years of welding experience or welder certification

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:
    Responsible for overall execution of daily laundry production activities. Tasks for this position may include: proper sorting of garments/products; placement of garments into wash and dry aisle; dryer offloading, sorting and bundling of clean garments/products; loading of deliverable garments onto delivery truck. Operate or tend washing or drying machines to wash or dry-clean industrial articles, such as cloth garments, maps, linen, ect.

    Primary duty for this position is to research, develop and revise Quality and Environmental Policies, Procedures, System Instructions, Engineering Standards and Work Instructions that govern the operations of the Quality Engineering Department and Quality-related activities of the Corporate Office, manufacturing facilities and distribution center.

    Duties and Responsibilities:
    -Perform, process environmental and quality system audits to ensure compliance to specifications and documented procedures. Perform the lead auditor responsibilities of planning, scheduling, conducting meetings and documenting results.
    -Provide training and advising to work areas on statistical techniques and tools for continuous improvement to help maintain ISO certifications in quality and environment systems.
    -Establish standards to measure process performance and improvement.
    -Provide expertise on the use of various specialties related to business such as process analysis, flow charting and strategic planning.
    -Coordinate corrective actions systems used throughout the company to ensure timely root cause analysis and effective corrective/preventive action.
    -Respond to customer requests for quality information.
    -Perform analysis on Quality and environmental systems for input to executive management review and as a basis for improvement.
