  • SUPERVISOR – Grenada – 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts

    Job Description

    First-line supervisor responsible for assigning and coordinating the work in a manufacturing department in order to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.

    Has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day to day operations of group. Maintains log of shift operations. Prepares daily time sheets for hourly employees, production summaries, overtime and downtime reports. Inspects product to verify production specifications are met. Reviews production schedules, material and manpower resources. Assigns employees to maximize production objectives, maintain quality and attain output requirements. Participates in establishing and modifying operational methods and processes by recommending changes in materials, equipment and procedures. Maintains a variety of reports, records and production documentation to reflect schedules and performance. Trains new workers in the organizations operating procedures and standards.

    Qualifications

    Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires at least 5 years related experience.

    Good work record and experience. Ability to lead in a production environment. Requires tact and good judgement. Excellent communication skills.

    Job Duties: 

    Butchers and meat cutters typically do the following:

    • Sharpen and adjust cutting equipment
    • Receive, inspect, and store meat upon delivery
    • Cut, bone, or grind pieces of meat
    • Weigh, wrap, and display cuts of meat
    • Cut or prepare meats to specification or customer’s orders
    • Store meats in refrigerators or freezers at the required temperature
    • Keep inventory of meat sales and order meat supplies

  • 2nd Shift On-Site Supervisor – Oakland

    SUMMARY OF POSITION:

    Responsible for supporting the client needs and requirements as well as manage the employees assigned to the client.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    1. Maintain good client relations by handling all customer service inquiries, concerns, issues and ensuring consistent quality.
    2. Work closely with client Production Supervisors, Group Leaders, and Human Resource staff to identify areas of needed improvement.
    3. Identify areas of needed improvement and implement a corrective action plan. If warranted, initiate disciplinary procedures up to & including termination.
    4. Responsible for maintaining employee Roster daily to ensure accuracy of data.
    5. Distribute safety equipment as needed.
    6. Responsible for conducting daily “safety sweeps”
    7. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

    Employee is required to spend a minimum 8 hours per shift on plant floor observing and assisting employees as needed. Daily overtime and weekend work will be required.

    Job Description:
    -Set up injection and compression molds and necessary auxiliary equipment.
    -Optimize process settings at setup for the production of acceptable parts.
    -Assist in the troubleshooting and debug of new molds.
    -Assist in the diagnosing of molding problems.
    -Maintain daily maintenance and safety checks on designated machines.
    -Ability to set up and process production molds with minimal supervision.
    -Assemble or disassemble hydraulic hoses.
    -Blueprint interpretation.
    -Must be able to work OT if necessary.

    -All training will be done on 1st shift.
